Support for ASP.NET MVC 2?

I’m trying to optimize an existing ASP.NET MVC website. It heavily embeds styles and scripts through the AssemblyResourceLoader-Handler (WebResource.axd). That’s why I found this framework.

I followed the guide in the readme.txt file. I’m not receiving errors and the WebResource.axd calls are compressed and minified. So it generally works.

But as far as I see, the AutoModeFilterStream is not working as in ASP.NET aspx files. If I place a breakpoint at AutoModeFilterStream.Write() the method is only called for some JSON-calls?! All the HTML Responses from the Views are not passed through…

Is there an error in my configuration, or is MbCompression not designed for ASP.NET MVC 2? As far as I know, the MVC framework would also allow an injection via an [ActionFilterAttribute].

Thanks for your help,
